Meet the team – Laura Legarçon

Laura first spotted Minze’s vacancy for Office manager / Social media marketeer on Daniël’s socials. After grilling Daniel about start-up-life, she decided to apply for the job!

Laura holds a degree in Modern languages – Economics and, before joining Minze,has gained 3 years of experience working as a claims analyst for a broker in hospitalization insurances. She followed a brief medical training on the job in order to interpret her records correctly. That’s where her interest in the medical world got triggered.

At Minze, Laura is responsible for office management and marketing. She makes sure everyone’s thirst for coffee and tea is fulfilled, organizes business trips, makes sure all goes well on (foreign) congresses, maintains the social media channels and website and tries to keep the team happy and motivated by organizing “Funzes”.

Apart from office and marketing responsibilities, Laura also assists in the field: whenever Minze runs a clinical study, she makes sure patients feel at ease, that informed consent forms are filled out and helps out wherever needed. She is also the go-to-person for translation work at Minze, since she fluently masters three languages (Dutch, French, English).

When not at work, Laura is probably busy being a “plant-mom” – yup, you read that correctly: she is a so-called crazy-plant-lady! Besides that, she’s a queen in the kitchen: she loves baking and cooking. She goes to many rock and metal concerts and travels as much as possible.

If it weren’t for Laura, Minze’s HQ would be one big pile of dirty dishes and half-empty cardboard boxes. She’s the Marie Kondo of Minze: bringing order in the chaos! Also: whenever there’s something to celebrate, she WILL bring home-made cake and ice-tea.
