Belgian company Minze Health raises €3.9M to further scale its digital health solutions for the treatment of urinary tract problems

Antwerp, Belgium, December 1^st 2022 – Minze Health announced today that White Fund, Capricorn Partners and PMV have jointly invested €3.9M million in the company to fund its further growth and product development roadmap.

Minze Health is a digital healthcare scale-up that enables better care for 2.3 billion people with Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS). Most common symptoms are urinary incontinence, weak stream due to an obstruction, frequent voiding and night voiding.

White Fund, a private equity fund focused on MedTech, led the funding round and was joined by Capricorn Partners via their Capricorn Digital Growth Fund and by the Flemish investment company PMV.

The proceeds will be used to conduct clinical studies in Europe and the US, to execute Minze’s exciting product development roadmap, as well as to invest in international B2B and Consumer Health go to market strategies.

Worldwide, 300 hospitals, urology practices and pelvic floor rehabilitation centers are already working with Minze Health’s digital health and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) solutions. Minze’s internet-connected products have now recorded nearly 150,000 measurements and anonymized urination data, providing a unique insight into the urination behavior of people all over the world. The investors strongly believe that Minze’s digital health solutions will change care for people suffering from LUTS.

• Minze is marketing a solution to guide the patient throughout the treatment pathway: from screening and diagnosis all the way through specialized treatment monitoring.
• The system includes three medical devices connected to the cloud: Hospiflow, a uroflowmeter that can be used on a normal toilet in a hospital or office setting; Homeflow a uroflowmeter to be used at the patient’s home; and Minze Diary, a fully automated bladder diary.

Anvers, Belgique, 1 décembre 2022 – Minze Health a annoncé l’investissement conjoint de 3,9 millions d’euros de White Fund, Capricorn Partners et PMV pour financer la poursuite de sa croissance et le développement de ses produits.

Minze Health est une scale-up spécialisée dans les soins de santé numériques, qui œuvre à l’amélioration des soins prodigués aux 2,3 milliards de personnes souffrant de symptômes des voies urinaires inférieures (LUTS – Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms). Les symptômes les plus courants sont l’incontinence urinaire, la lenteur de la miction due à une obstruction, la miction fréquente et/ou nocturne.

White Fund, un fonds d’investissement axé sur les medtech, a mené le tour de table et a été rejoint par Capricorn Partners via son fonds Capricorn Digital Growth Fund et par la société d’investissement flamande PMV.

L’investissement sera utilisé pour mener des essais cliniques en Europe et aux États-Unis, pour mettre en œuvre la stratégie de développement de produits de Minze et pour investir dans des stratégies internationales de commercialisation de produits B2B et B2C.

Dans le monde entier, 300 hôpitaux, cabinets d’urologie et centres de rééducation du plancher pelvien ont déjà adopté les solutions de santé numériques et de surveillance à distance des patients (RPM – Remote Patient Monitoring) de Minze Health. Minze Health – Les soins à domicile

• Minze lance une nouvelle solution permettant de guider le patient tout au long de son parcours de soins : du dépistage au diagnostic jusqu’au traitement spécialisé.
• La solution comprend désormais trois dispositifs médicaux connectés à Internet : Hospiflow, un débitmètre qui peut être utilisé sur les toilettes normales dans un hôpital ou un cabinet médical ; Homeflow, un débitmètre à utiliser au domicile du patient ; et Minze Diary, un calendrier mictionnel entièrement automatisé à utiliser à la maison et en déplacement.

Minze Health haalt €3.9M miljoen euro op om digital health oplossingen voor incontinentie en plasproblemen te schalen

Antwerpen, België, 1 december 2022 – Minze Health kondigt aan dat White Fund, Capricorn Partners en PMV samen 3,9 miljoen euro in het bedrijf investeren om de internationale groei en productontwikkeling te versnellen.

Minze Health verbetert met zijn digital health producten de zorg voor 2,3 miljard mensen met plasproblemen (Engels: Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms, LUTS). De meest voorkomende symptomen hierbij zijn urine-incontinentie, te frequent plassen, te traag plassen als gevolg van een obstructie of veelvuldig nachtelijk plassen.

De financieringsronde wordt geleid door White Fund, een investeringsfonds gericht op MedTech, daarbij vergezeld door Capricorn Partners via hun Capricorn Digital Growth Fund en door de Vlaamse investeringsmaatschappij PMV.

De kapitaalinjectie zal worden gebruikt om klinische studies uit te voeren, om het productportfolio verder te ontwikkelen en om te investeren in internationale B2B en B2C groei in Europa en de VS.

Wereldwijd werken al 300 ziekenhuizen, urologiepraktijken en bekkenbodemrevalidatiecentra met de digital health toepassingen van Minze Health. Op deze manier werden er reeds meer dan 150.000 metingen en geanonimiseerde plasgegevens geregistreerd, wat een uniek inzicht geeft in het plasgedrag van mensen over de hele wereld. Minze Health – Zorg thuis

• Minze brengt een nieuwe zorgoplossing op de markt waarbij het gehele LUTS behandeltraject kan worden gemonitord: van screening en diagnose tot en met de opvolging van gespecialiseerde behandelingen.
• Het product bestaat uit een cloud-toepassing voor de arts, waarin de informatie samenkomt die wordt verzameld via een smartphone app en eigen ontwikkelde medische apparaten: Homeflow een uroflowmeter voor gebruik bij de patiënt thuis; Minze Diary, een volledig geautomatiseerd plasdagboek voor gebruik thuis en onderweg en Hospiflow, een uroflowmeter die kan worden gebruikt op een normaal toilet in een ziekenhuis of huisartsenpraktijk.
• Plasdagboeken en uroflowmetrie zijn diagnostische middelen die worden voorgeschreven in elke nationale en internationale richtlijnen voor urologie en incontinentie.
